FAQ: Why is it so watery? > The true effectiveness of an essence is not dictated by its thickness. It is dictated by the quality of the herb and the method of extraction. Thicker essences prevent the ingredients and benefits from entering the depths of your skin barrier. We make our formulations light weight so they can penetrate the skin and have longstanding effectiveness.
Why is it so small?
> Our extraction method and sourcing of the ingredient is much more costly than other brands. No other brand sources the ingredients themselves and inspects the quality. They simply trust their manufacturer to do the work for them. Therefore their manufacturer finds the cheapest herbs and utilizes the lowest cost extraction method. How is this different from a toner? > Toners typically consist of low concentrations of beneficial ingredients essences and serums provide greater effectiveness at lower usages of the product. Our product only takes 1-2 drops to spread across ones face versus toners which take up a full cotton pad.
